US President Donald Trump has ordered the urgent establishment of 4,000-bed field hospitals within the US states most suffering from the emerging corona virus.
Trump told a White House news conference that he "ordered" the US Emergency Management Agency to line up 1,000-bed federal emergency hospitals in ny State, 2,000 beds in California and 1,000 beds in Washington state.
Earlier, Trump ruled out imposing strict isolation measures on the territory of all countries at the present , at a time when Pennsylvania and Nevada announced the suspension of all non-essential activities, following the instance of California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois.
Consequently, the three largest cities within the us , New York, l. a. , and Chicago are not any longer active, as around 100 million people have isolated themselves in their homes.
"We are in quarantine," said ny State Governor Andrew Como, stressing that it's "the most stringent measure we will take."
